London History Day
Developed specially to mark London History Day, London Stories can accommodate the whole of up to a two-form entry school in a single day of age-differentiated workshops exploring the story of the city from the Iron Age to the advent of World War II. And the day has been enjoyed by schools including Ibstock Place, Holy Trinity, Gospel Oak, Holmleigh, Oaklands and West Ham primaries!.


Time Travel Theatre
We regularly take our History workshops into schools across the region. Recent workshops include; Black History Month workshops at Our Lady & St Philomena’s Primary School, a Big History Day at Longmoor Primary School and a Cultures and Civilisations day at St Austin’s Primary. Holy Spirit Catholic Primary School in St Helens have our history workshops each half-term, allowing children lots of opportunities to explore a whole host of history topics!
Local History
We are able to develop bespoke History programmes for schools, specially designed to tie in with whole-school aims and objectives. Marking an important birthday for Smithdown Primary School on Merseyside, for example, 150 Years of Smithdown saw every year group participating in workshops exploring different, age-appropriate aspects of local history!


Landmark Occasions
Our whole-school programmes supporting moments of national significance (Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, Charles III’s coronation and the 80th anniversary of VE Day) always prove particularly popular. In 2026 we will be marking the centenary of the General Strike with a new workshop History Through Drama: Nine Days of Turmoil: 100 Years Since the General Strike? – when workers across the country walked out of their jobs to protest against poverty-level wages and terrible working conditions in the coal mining industry.
