Linking perfectly to the theme of British Science Week 2020, “Our Diverse Planet”, this highly engaging, informative and thought-provoking day starts with a quick and interactive assembly illustrating just what it is that makes the Earth such a wonderful world. Classes then take part in a series of high-energy, age-appropriate quizzes (with not a desk in sight) designed to explore the diverse nature of the habitats our planet supports, point up the threats posed to them by human activity - and extend thinking about the power of individual action.
