Key Stage 4 is an important time in young people’s lives – but how can we support them in deciding where to go next? Equally importantly, how do Key Stages 2 and 3 fit into all of this?

The Key Stage 4 in Context Conference was planned, prepared and facilitated by as creatives – and saw more than 100 senior teachers from across Greater Merseyside participating at Aintree Racecourse. The draw? An innovative approach to sharing whereby representatives of each Greater Merseyside council paired up with our facilitators to deliver an experiential workshop promoting the sharing of excellent practice. Feedback told us that an overwhelming number of participants wanted a second event – on in which they could report back on their experiences in experimenting with what they’d seen, heard and done. Despite a dwindling budget, this follow-up event went ahead – with huge success.

“This experience has really enhanced my views and made me more determined to change the curriculum – I will arrange a curriculum review session with colleagues as soon as possible!”
(Conference Delegate)

“A great range of opportunities for stimulating dialogue and developing new thinking and new opportunities.”
(Commissioning Team)

Other conferences who have commissioned us to plan, prepare and deliver Community Engagement programmes include Find Your Talent, MOWLL, National Museums Liverpool The New and St Helens Council.
