Maths Manchester
Our creative maths programmes prove extremely popular with Manchester primary schools – who place a particular value on our ability to engage children by putting maths in context. Years 3 and 4 at St Wilfrid’s, for example, have been enjoying our historical maths workshops (CSI: Ancient Greeks and CSI: Vikings) for a number of years now – while pupils at Bridgewater and Higher Lane love our whole-school character-led programmes!

Loving Literacy
Having produced such world-acclaimed writers as Jeanette Winterson, John Cooper Clarke and Shelagh Delaney, it’s only natural that Manchester teachers place such a high value on developing their pupils’ literacy skills. So both our World Book Day and National Poetry Day programmes are in great demand in the area, with schools like Cavendish and Bridgewater primaries hungrily devouring our passionate approaches to wordsmithery!
Manchester School Workshop Teacher FEEDBACK
“We just wanted to thank As Creatives and in particular, Chris for the fantastic workshop that we had this week. The children absolutely loved it and Chris expertly managed to keep them all engaged for over an hour which is a challenge in itself! we will look forward to booking more workshops with you in the future and will highly recommend your workshop to colleagues. Thankyou for making it such an easy process to enquire and book a workshop – we really appreciate this!”

“5A have had a great morning working with Benny Factor on various money activities. We helped work out what was needed for a new restaurant in the village then were set lots of money challenges too!”

“Thank you again for today! I had so many positive comments from the teachers and all the children were really engaged, had lots of fun and you made sure the day ran very smoothly! Would love to have you again at some point!”

“Chris was absolutely brilliant! He was engaging, great with the kids and his subject knowledge was clearly very strong! Staff commented on how great he was during the whole school assembly. The students learned about important (and diverse) scientists which they had never heard about before. It was nice to hear about different scientists than the typical Newton, Einstein etc. They learned how one of their science topics links to this year’s change & adapt theme. I was impressed with how enaging and fun the workshops were. Considering there were no experiments, the children were all active and thoroughly engaged in their sessions.”

“The schools in our Manchester Hub have been delighted with the workshops. You have delivered some amazing sessions (as always!). Thank you so much for all your hard work – we really do love working with As Creatives!”

“The children really enjoyed the workshops. Feedback from staff and pupils was very positive. Nice progression through the year groups. Nice resources too. We loved it. Thank you Jo and the team!”

“The children loved the assembly and the workshops – they were engaging and age appropriate The children gained a great deal – creativity and it helped their story telling. A great day – thank you so much!”
